Decent tools, some interface quirks

I got the Basic Subscription Plan a few weeks ago, mostly for the Multi-Exchange Order Book Aggregator. It works well and I've found it helpful for spotting deeper liquidity across different exchanges. The data for Coinbase Pro Market Data and OKX Order Flow loads quickly. I like that it combines data from several places. My only minor complaint is that the UI, while functional, feels a little cluttered sometimes. It's not always super intuitive to navigate, especially on a smaller screen. Customer service was responsive when I had a billing question, which was good. Value for money seems fair for what it offers.

Good data, but setup was tricky

I purchased the Professional Subscription Plan last month to get better insight into crypto order books. The initial sign-up was straightforward, but connecting to the exchanges through their API was a bit more involved than I expected. Their support documentation helped, but I still had a couple of questions that I messaged them about. They responded within a day and walked me through the last steps. Once everything was set up, the Real-time Crypto Screener and Cross-Exchange Liquidity Map have been really useful. I found the data to be genuinely real-time, and the aggregated view across Binance and Bybit was exactly what I needed. It's definitely improved my understanding of market depth. The interface takes a little getting used to, but it's powerful once you figure it out.

Real-time data is solid

I tried out the 7-day trial and then bought the Basic Subscription. The Real-time Crypto Screener and Aggregated Trade History are great. Data is fast, which is key. Setup was easy enough. No complaints, it does what it says.

If I get the annual subscription, but then decide it's not for me after a few months, can I cancel and get a partial refund or am I just out of luck?

R Rosa 1 month ago
I think once you've paid for the annual, it's pretty much for the year. You can cancel future renewals, but probably no refunds on the current period. Check their terms though.

From what I remember, subscriptions are usually non-refundable for the period you paid for. You can cancel auto-renewal so you don't get charged next time, but the current year's probably locked in.

Are there any student discounts for TradeFuck? I'm trying to learn more about order flow but money's tight.

J Josh S. 1 month ago
I haven't seen anything specifically for students. Your best bet might be finding a referral code or waiting for a Black Friday type of deal.

I don't think they do student discounts directly. You could try emailing their support, maybe, but I think the annual discount or a trial is the only way to save a bit.

Can I use PayPal to pay for a subscription, or is it just crypto? Don't want to get all my crypto stuff linked directly if I don't have to.

R Raj 2 months ago
They take regular cards too, I paid with my Visa last time. Not sure about PayPal specifically but they have standard options.

Pretty sure I've seen Mastercard and Visa logos on their checkout. Don't think I saw PayPal though, you'd have to double check their payment page.

Does this work well on a phone? I do a lot of my trading analysis on the go, so a good mobile experience is important.

J Julia 2 months ago
It's not a dedicated app, but the website is pretty responsive on mobile. You can definitely get a lot done, though a bigger screen is always better for depth charts.

Yeah, it works on mobile browsers. It's not perfectly optimized like a native app would be, but you can check alerts and basic data fine. For serious analysis, I'd still use a desktop.

thinking about getting this but also looking at TradingLite. anyone used both and can tell me if TradeFuck is better for depth charts and aggregated order books?

D David 1 month ago
I tried TradingLite before TradeFuck. For pure aggregated order book depth across multiple exchanges, TradeFuck felt more comprehensive. TradingLite is good, but TF's cross-exchange view is stronger imo.

TradeFuck really shines with the aggregated order book. If that's your main focus, you'll probably prefer it. TradingLite has other strengths but not this specific one as much.

I'm still kinda new to this, is there a free way to try out the TradeFuck platform before committing to a paid plan? Don't wanna drop cash if it's too complicated for me.

O Omar 2 months ago
Yeah, they definitely have a free trial. I used it for about a week before signing up. Gives you a good feel for it.

They offer a 7-day trial for sure. You can check out most of the features, I found it super helpful to see if it was right for my style.

How quick are the updates for Binance and Bybit? I need really fast, real-time data for my scalping strategy, otherwise it's useless.

S Sam Y. 1 month ago
It's pretty much instant, I use it for scalping on Binance and haven't had any issues with delays. The order book moves with the exchange.

Real-time is their whole thing. I've compared it to directly on the exchanges and it's always spot on, no noticeable lag for me.

hey, was looking at the professional subscription, but it's kinda pricey. any way to get a discount on that, or should I just wait?

R Rachel Vargas 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually have better deals for annual payments. I think I got 20% off when I signed up for a year instead of monthly.

Keep an eye out for Black Friday or big crypto events. Sometimes they do special promos then. Or find a referral link, those usually knock a bit off too.
